Mutton Chilli Fry


Ingredients:
Mutton - 1/2 kg, cubed
Green chillies - 6-8, medium hot
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Garlic - 2 flakes
Cummin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves - a small bunch
Onions - 2, medium size, sliced
Tomatoes - 2, medium size, chopped
Salt - 1 teaspoon or to taste
Oil - 1 tablespoon

Method: Grind green chillies, ginger, garlic, cummin seeds, and coriander leaves together into a fine paste. Heat the oil in a wok or skillet and fry the onions until well browned. Add the ground masala and saute over high heat for one minute. Add the mutton and salt and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add the tomatoes and 2 cups of water. Simmer it covered for 10 minutes or until meat is tender. Remove the lid and continue stirring. Thicken the sauce to your desired thickness. Garnish with few chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve hot. Enjoy!
