Sago vattals: end-result

Here is the end-result of sago vattals prepared a few days ago. Recipe details are here.

Completely sun-dried vattals...

When needed, deep fry in smoking hot oil or ghee and serve.

I'm never gonna be able to make this at home here... not enough sunlight at any time of the year :) But oh they do look so goooooood, VKN!

Keep the vattals out in the sun for at least the first day.
Subsequently pre-heat the oven and switch it off.
Then keep the vattals inside the oven.

Last week we tried this method and it worked :)
