VCC 193 - Ulli Chammanthi
This recipe is an accompaniment to the unda (round rice balls) recipe posted before kindly contributed by Ms. Simoni Binoy, a member at My Dhaba's google group.
Ulli Chammanthi aka Onion Chutney recipe

Ingredients:
Button Onion/shallots- 12
Whole red chillies-10
Curry leaves- 5-6
Coconut oil- 3 teaspoon
Salt- as required
Method: In a small kadai heat oil & sauté the shallots, red chillies, & curry leaves for 3-4 minutes. Let it cool. Add salt & grind to fine paste. Before serving add a teaspoon of coconut oil.
Serve it along with the unda. Dip the unda in the chammanthi & eat.
